For a race that found “colour” difficult to spell, the Americans have done remarkably well in every way since time immemorial. But it is unfair that they came up with a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test. “American English” is nothing but a simplification of Samuel Johnson English or Oxford English. And when I see today the caricatures of Bengali language in some of the Bengali dailies, I only feel good that our literary exponents have been spared the effort of turning in their graves and simply been....incinerated.

Yes I like British English.
